According to her, “He has served this state meritoriously, and has not put the local government to shame, and has contributed immensely to the growth of rural communities in the state.
“You have not disappointed God and the people of the state throughout your service years. You are a true professional, who has shown by example that excellence is something to aim for daily.
“You inspire everyone around you to be more, and I know that will continue in your retirement,” Mrs Piyo stated, noting that, Engr T- Sho’s hard work, dedication and achievements may never be matched, and thanked him for everything he has contributed to Riyom Local Government and its people.
The Deputy Governor congratulated him on a remarkable career and extended well wishes for the next phase of his life with his family.
During the Thanksgiving Service, Rev. David Bature, in his sermon, stated that “The end of service was more important than the beginning as it marks God’s faithfulness in the life of an individual.”
While urging leaders in government to serve the people with the fear of God and seek his face in all facets of life, the clergy added that, those workers under them should be respected “because they may be the ones to help you tomorrow.”
Also, the Transition Committee Chairman of Shendam LGA, Hon. Kemi Nshe, equally applauded Engr. Mark T-Sho for his service, describing him as a committed staff, who was “incorruptible and dedicated to duty,” and urged him to cherish every moment of the time and revel in the new stage of his life.
The retiree, Engr. Mark T-Sho, thanked God Almighty for the opportunity to serve the Government of Plateau State for 35 years, stating that his job at different levels was good, rewarding and challenging.
At the Thanksgiving Service, the renewal of Engr T-Sho’s 24 years of marriage with his wife was made, and prayers were offered for him and the family.
According to him, he cherishes the month of October because he started his job on October 1st, was born on October 15, and got married on 30th October!
“And his retirement Thanksgiving Service is also held in October. What a lucky man to have his ‘blessings’ tide to a particular month!” – comments of Middle-Belt News Networks.
