The Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA) President International, Rev. Dr. Job Ayuba Bakat Mallam, has called on the government and humanitarian organizations to prioritize recovery efforts and provide the necessary resources to rebuild the devastated communities that have been affected by flood and put preventive measures to safeguard them against future occurrences.

He expressed his condolences and unwavering support to the communities across Nigeria affected by the recent catastrophic flooding.

He noted that, “As reports of widespread devastation emerge from states, including Borno, Yobe, Adamawa and others, we stand united in mourning for those, who have lost their homes, livelihoods, and loved ones.

“The impact of this natural disaster has been profound, and our thoughts and prayers are with the countless families grappling with the aftermath.”

The President further assured that, they stand alongside with their brothers and sisters, especially those who have been displaced and are in dire need of immediate assistance.

“We call on relevant government authorities, NGOs, religious bodies and well-to-do individuals to embark on providing emergency supplies such as food, water, clothing, shelter, and medical assistance to the affected areas.

“I enjoin all and sundry to embody the spirit of support and resilience that defines our shared humanity and pray that those affected may find immediate relief and solace in their faith in God during these trying times of their lives,” Rev. Dr. Job Mallam stated.
