The Plateau State Commissioner of Police, CP Emmanuel Olugbemiga Adesina, has paid a supervisory visit to Bokkos and Barkin Ladi Local Government Areas in company of his Management Team.
The Police Commissioner, who is adjudged an expert in the field of operations, took out time to inspect the officers and men posted to the two Local Government Areas and also assessed the level of effectiveness of the deployment, and gave further directives on how to make it better.
The CP also met with the citizens, as well as other critical stakeholders who he encouraged to keep-up-the-good-work and continue to support the Police as they continue on the journey of safeguarding the peace of the State.
He, therefore, assured the officers and men of the Command’s unflinching resolve to ensure their safety and security.
Also, the Chairmen of Bokkos and Barkin-Ladi Local Government Areas both expressed their appreciation to the CP for hearing their cry and coming to their rescue, through the deployment of additional men to the numbers already stationed at various locations within their Local Government Areas.
They also praised the strong synergy that exists between the Police and other security agencies in the State, a result of which is evident in their Local Government Areas.
The CP visited various communities in the hinterland, and noted that a high degree of normalcy has been restored. He, therefore, promised that the Command under his watch will do everything within its constitutional powers to ensure that the peace is being sustained.
