The Plateau State Governor, Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, has extends his deepest sympathy to former Senate President, Bukola Saraki, on the passing away of his mother, Mama Florence Morenike Saraki.
Governor Mutfwang, who paid a condolence visit to the former Senate President at his Abuja residence, described the deceased as a patriotic and kind-hearted woman, who dedicated her life to the service of God and humanity.
He noted that, Mama Florence lived a selfless life marked by dedication and resilience, impacting those who crossed her path. He said her kindness, generosity, and benevolence would continue to shine brightly in her absence.
He urged the family and her associates to take solace in her enduring legacy of justice and selfless service to the nation, emphasizing that her commitment to raising credible leaders is evident in her son, Senator Bukola Saraki.
“Certainly, the loss of any dear one is painful, especially a beloved one. I know that you had a very robust relationship with Mama, and it pleased God to keep her this long. But finally, the day that all of us must face has come for her.
“I want you to take solace in the fact that she lived a good and fulfilled life, leaving her imprint in the sands of time. She stood by her husband throughout their journey on earth and raised children, who have become leaders in their own right in this nation,” he stated.
Governor Mutfwang added, “Mama lived to the glory of God and mankind. That we have you as a leader is evidence that Mama served humanity. The Good Book admonishes us that ‘there is a time for everything under the earth,’ and now that it has happened, we must accept it as the will of God.”
Governor Mutfwang said the demise of Mama has created a void that would be difficult to fill, and her acts of kindness and generosity would be missed not only by her children and family but by the nation at large.
On behalf of his family, the government, and the good people of Plateau State, Governor Mutfwang extended his sincere condolences to Senator Saraki and prayed that God grants him the fortitude and strength to bear the irreplaceable loss.
