Senator Shehu Sani, who represented Kaduna Central Senatorial District in the 8th Senate, has made a revelation and expository remarks that may engender more unity but open a lot of surprises to most Nigerians, who are ignorant of the situation.
Sen. Sani, in his verified x-status, posted that Northerners and Westerners invariably don’t buy and own properties in the Southeastern States of Nigeria like Enugu, Owerri or in Akwa.
Recalled that, most Easterners buy and own a lot of mansions and properties, including companies, in states of Northern and Western region of Nigeria, leading the development space in the zones.
Sani, who is typical northerner, however, in the statement pointed out that he wants to buy a house in states of Eastern region, believing that it would reduce apathy and may encourage Northerners and Westerners to follow his part in owing properties in the area and enjoying the beautiful things.
He said, “I will try and buy a house in Enugu or Owerri or Awka, so that I can be going there during holidays. Maybe, after I have done that, Northerners and South Westerners will start owning properties there and enjoying the beauty of that part of our country.”
Senator Sani, who is a very popular Nigerian from northern part of the country, is capable of initiating the move and leading from front in instilling confidence in the heart of other Northerners and Westerners to start owing properties and companies in the Southeast States of Nigeria.
