…Eyewitness advocates protests.

Gunmen suspected to be bandits had reportedly stormed Dabna, a community under Garha District of Hong Local Government Area of Adamawa State, where many have been feared killed, an eye witness, Nelson James, has recounted.
James confirmed that the gunmen, around 6:00pm Wednesday, inside two Toyota cars (starlet) armed with guns, stormed the community and started shooting sporadically.
He said victims, Hebron Yaduma and Ezra, are confirmed dead because they were among those who they tried to rush to Hong General Hospital but gave up along the way.
According to him, the killers were heard speaking Kanuri, but he couldn’t identify them – whether they belong to Boko Haram groups or kidnappers.
He expressed worry over the insecurity that is becoming unbearable, saying, the only option they have is to go on protest.
“We are tired of the high rate of insecurity in our community. This very community I cannot tell you the number of attacks they have experienced. Right now, there are communities where no one is living because of attacks.
“We are protesting to tell the whole world that no one is protecting us and our attackers are having their field day on us,” James said.
The Public Relations Officer, SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje of Adamawa State Police Command, when contacted told our correspondent that the Command “is finding many details on the development” and he will brief this medium back.
