JOS – Mischief makers in Plateau State have been warned to sheath their plans, as law enforcement agencies will leave no stone unturned until they are brought to book and dealt with decisively when caught during the Eid-el-Fitr celebration.

The State Commandant, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Plateau State Command, Comd’t Alexander Bissa Barunde, has wished all Muslims and the general public spirit-filled Eid-el-Fitr celebrations.

He assured the general public that the Corps has deployed 2,000 officers and men for both covert and physical duties in the state to ensure safety of critical national assets and infrastructure, life and property and ensure a hitch-free celebration.

He encouraged all and sundry to celebrate peacefully and report any suspicious movements that could lead to breach of peace and breakdown of law and order.

The Commandant equally assured that the Corps in collaboration with other agencies is working round-the-clock to ensure that crime is reduced to the barest minimum and miscreants put out of the streets.
