A multi-million naira Shopping Complex and ultra-modern Motor Park, along Bukuru Expressway, Jos, has officially been unveiled by the State Governor, Barr. Caleb Mutfwang.
The project was constructed by the Jos South Local Government Council, with the aim to enhance orderliness, curb crime, and boost revenue for the local administration.
Speaking at the ceremony, which held on Wednesday, the governor emphasized the significance of the initiative – in fostering a conducive environment for business activities.
He commended the Transition Committee Chairman of Jos South LGA, Hon. Peter Vwang Dung, for his commitment to completing the project, which was initiated in 2014, during his tenure as Chairman but remained unfinished.
While encouraging further collaboration between the government and traders, especially those at the Terminus Market, Mutfwang called for cooperation in maintaining cleanliness and ensuring a favorable atmosphere for commerce.
In his remarks, Hon. Peter Vwang Dung (the Transition Committee Chairman) extended a warm welcome to the governor and his delegation.
He disclosed that “This marks the second project commissioned by Governor Mutfwang in Jos South,” and expressed gratitude to the people for their unwavering support to the Mutfwang administration in the state.
Vwang Dung pledged continuous cooperation to make Plateau State a “safe and prosperous destination for all.”
