…Calls for investigation of Boguma.
…Says, “North, Central Senatorial Districts’ large parts currently occupied by insurgents.”
…Alleges “cover-up for B’Haram.”

In a repugnant out bursting, Borno State indigenes are at daggers drawn at each other’s neck over startling allegations of providing cover and siding with members of Boko Haram and SWAP insurgents in the state.

Consequent upon the alleged sympathy for insurgents, a large part of Borno’s Northern and Central Senatorial Districts are currently allegedly occupied by Boko Haram and ISWAP and its leaders.
These allegations are contained in a strong-worded statement of rejoinder signed by a Borno State-born Activist and Director-General, Centre for Justice on Religious and Ethnicity in Nigeria (CJREN), Rev. Kallamu Musa Ali Dikwa, made available to our reporter on Monday in Kaduna.
Rev. Dikwa was reacting furiously to alleged attempt by one Elder Hassan Zanna Boguma (Borno traditional title holder) to discredit his exposure of network of B’Haram appointees and operatives in State and federal institutions in Nigeria.
In a statement, entitled: ‘A Rejoinder From: Rev. Ali Dikwa To: Hassan Zanna Boguma,’ Dikwa said his mission is to expose the network of Boko Haram appointees and operatives embedded in the state and federal institutions.
Boguma had earlier condemned a social media posting and publication entitled: ‘Exclusive: B’Haram leaders serving under President Tinubu administration exposed,’ … Why Zulum afraid to disclose his anointed candidate for 2027, by Rev. Dikwa, where he claimed some B’Haram leaders are BoT of Nigerian Port Authority (NPA), amongst others.
Rev Dikwa’s statement reads: “Your attempt to discredit my exposure of Boko Haram sympathizers within the government isn’t just weak – it’s a clear attempt to hide your own compromised history and the criminal interests you’re protecting.
“My mission is straightforward: to expose the network of Boko Haram appointees and operatives embedded in our state and federal institutions. Your reaction only confirms that you are part of the cover-up.
“Let me be blunt: your record of siding with Boko Haram during the Jonathan administration is public knowledge. You, as a member of the Borno Elders Forum, openly defended these terrorists, calling them your ‘friends, brothers, sisters, children, and grandchildren,’” he stated.
According to Dikwa, Elder Bugoma sold out, adding, “You demanded the military to stop operations against them – a stance that compromised national security and helped fuel their campaign of violence.
“Now, you seek to use security agencies to intimidate those exposing the truth. But the truth cannot be hidden. The evidence is documented, and it’s been in the hands of security agencies for over a decade.
“In 2011, I submitted a detailed report with 14 VCDs to the DSS, the National Security Adviser, the Chief of Defense Staff, and the Senate President. I was summoned, my claims verified, and yet nothing was done. I have the acknowledgment from the Senate President’s office, dated February 29, 2012. The government has long known about these infiltrations.
“Your hypocrisy is staggering. While you pose as an elder, you ignore the atrocities committed under the protection of Borno State officials. Remember, Kabiru Sokoto – the Boko Haram commander, who bombed the INEC office and a Catholic church in Madalla – arrested right inside the Borno State Liaison Office in Abuja. This reveals how deep the complicity runs.
“Today, large parts of Borno’s Northern and Central Senatorial Districts are occupied by Boko Haram and ISWAP. Yet, you dare to defend the very leaders enabling this occupation. Your silence on the arrested youths from the home of Senator Kaka Shehu – including the Senator’s own sister – speaks volumes,” Dikwa added.
The DG CJREN, therefore, demanded for investigation of Elder Hassan Zanna Boguma by security agencies over his alleged role in the forced marriage of 18 rescued Chibok schoolgirls to Boko Haram/ISWAP terrorists, through Borno Governor.
“Security agencies must immediately investigate Hassan Zanna Boguma for his role in the forced marriage of 18 rescued Chibok schoolgirls to Boko Haram/ISWAP terrorists – girls handed over to the State Governor.
“Boguma must be questioned about the whereabouts of Leah Sharibu, as he holds knowledge of her captivity. All Borno State officials and traditional titleholders, who provide cover for terrorists, must be exposed and prosecuted,” he demanded.
He accused Boguma, saying, “You hold a traditional title, a political appointment under Governor Zulum, and a lectureship at the University of Maiduguri. Yet, you show no remorse for the bloodshed committed by those you call family.”
Dikwa reiterated that, “When I exposed former Minister Pantami’s links to terrorism, he apologized to the nation. When will you and your allies in Borno State apologize for your alliance with these killers?
“According to Dikwa, “The insurgency will not end until government officials, who shield Boko Haram, are removed. This isn’t just an allegation – it’s a documented fact. The cover-up should stop now.
“Include my GSM number. I am Rev. Kallamu Musa Ali Dikwa, Director-General, Center for Justice on Religious and Ethnicity in Nigeria; 08033497229, 08025510331,” he stated.
