The Plateau State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Ishaku Musa, has directed the immediate deployment of 2,608 personnel to beef-up security in the state and its environs before, during and after the celebration of the 2025 Christmas.

While briefing officers and men at the State Headquarters, Comd’t Musa ordered a complete beefing up of security across all the flashpoints, worship centres and recreational places across the 17 Local Government Areas of the state.

Also, while wishing all Christians a Happy Christmas celebration and a prosperous New Year 2026, the Security and Civil Defence Corps Commandant reiterated the Corps’ commitment in protecting of Critical National Assets and Infrastructure of the nation, lives and property.

He said the Corps will leave no stone unturned in dealing decisively with all miscreants, criminal and vandals who are planning to disrupt the relative peace the State is enjoying.
