The Senator representing Benue North, who doubled as Chairman of occasion of “Sada Day/Coronation of Tor Sada Kaduna chapter,” Senator Udende, has called for stronger unity and peaceful coexistence among Sankera, Benue and Nigeria at large.

Senator Udende, the Senate Committee Chairman on EFCC, who was represented by Barr. Andrew H. Abuul, made the call during the colourful celebration of the day in Kaduna on weekend, and pledged his support for Sankera people.

Earlier, in his welcome speech, the Chairman planning committee, Sada Day/Coronation of Tor Sada Kaduna, Mr. Samuel Kyuga, said Sada community is one among the great zones of the six geopolitical zones of Tiv ethnic group in Benue State of Nigeria. 

Organised by Sankera Development Association, Kaduna chapter, the committee chairman explained that the celebration of Sada Day and investiture of Tor Sada the 5th, was a testament of peace, love and unity among its Sons and Daughters.

“We are celebrating her day, and also crowing one of us, Chief Patrick Verior Maikyo. We are so delighted because Maikyo is a beacon of trust, a humanitarian, who always accommodate everyone without any iota of segregation, irrespective of clan affiliation,” he said.

He, therefore, called on all and sundry to put their hands on deck in making sure that goals and objectives of Sada and those at large are met.

Highlights of the event include colorful coronation of Tor Sada Kaduna, Chief Patrick M. Verior, amidst dances and Tiv cultural displays.
