The Plateau State Governor, Caleb Mutfwang, has called on the newly appointed Permanent Secretaries to leverage on their extensive experience in building a more efficient and responsive Civil Service that will serve as a model of excellence and pride for Plateau State.

The governor was speaking during the sworn-in of the Acting Head of Civil Service Plateau State, Mr. Stephen Pam Gadong, alongside ten Permanent Secretaries, with a charge to “give their best” for the growth and development of the state.

Governor Mutfwang made this disclosure at Government House, Little Rayfield Jos, on Wednesday, while emphasizing that their roles are crucial in inspiring the workforce to deliver quality leadership and governance in driving the state’s economy towards sustainable progress and prosperity for all its citizens.

Also, additional Special Advisers were also inaugurated as part of his administration’s drive to optimize government performance in the state, with a warning against abuse of office, as his administration prioritizes excellence and value addition.

He also sworn-in the newly appointed Chairman of the State Pensions Board, Barr. Rauta Dakok, with a charge to ensure that pensioners are paid every year in the state.

The newly sworn-in Permanent Secretaries consist of: Yilkudi Nengak Elisha, Wycliff Inusa Biwet, Yohanna Mangtu Dangnan, Keziah Ishaya Dung, Solomon Kadiya, Yakubu Ishaya Mallo, Musa Nyam Agwom, Barr. Rwang Yop Shom, Gayi Timothy Gayi, as well as Mr Yabilsu Michael, respectively.
