Chairman, Council of Yoruba of Obas and Chiefs in the 19 Northern States and Abuja, Ambassador Muhammad Arigbabuwo, has raised alarm over alleged non-inclusion of non-indigenes in the sharing of palliatives amongst the citizens.

Arigbabuwo, who expressed his displeasure in a statement, called on the state governors to consider non-indigenes in the distribution of palliatives in their respective states.

In the statement, signed and made available to the newsmen in Kaduna, the Chairman further emphasized that non-indigenes were being “totally sidelined” in the whole of the scheme.

“If truly we are One Nigeria and not a satellite, we are equally entitled and deserve fair justice,” Arigbabuwo stated.

He, therefore, called on the President, National Assembly and others to come to the consider non-indigenes, who do not benefit from the palliatives in most of the states.

“We are aware of several humanitarians and financial support with palliatives given to only the indigenes,” Arigbabuwo emphasised.

On insecurity, he said, the security chiefs deserve commendations on their efforts to restore national peace and unity, especially during the recent nationwide “End-Bad-Governance” protests.

This is just as he urged Nigerians to continue to pray for the smooth running of government by the present administration.
