Councillorship candidate of New Nigerian People’s Party, NNPP, for Rido Ward, Chukun LGA of Kaduna State, Esther Richards, has promised “serious transformation” for people of the Ward, if elected into office.
She made the proclamation at the flag-off of her campaign at Bagado community, even as she promised to bring back total development, true governance and restore the health and educational sectors during her tenure.
“For me, the welfare of my people is paramount, and to achieve my aims and objectives, I will need the cooperation of my people. This is why I must do my best to keep my campaign promises,” she said.
Esther Richards stressed thus: “Bagado community, for instance, needs good roads, a very functional health care center, well-furnished schools for conducive learning and a market to boost commerce.”
While insisting on true respect for social norms, she enjoined youths to learn how to obey and respect their elders, adding that, “It has become pertinent as a lot of them are no longer interested in genuine ways of getting wealth.
“Our children are now looking for quick money; they are no longer interested in school and educational pursuit.
“I intend, with the help of the elders of my ward, to inculcate good mannerisms in these youths when I assume office – by their votes and the Grace of God,” she added.
