Vice Chairman, with others, during condolence visit in Adamawa State

Chairman of the ‘Amalgamation of APC Youth Organizations’ in Adamawa State, Amb. Mohammed Ahmed Marafa, has led a delegation on a condolence visit to the APC National Vice Chairman for the Northeast, Comrade Mustapha Salihu, PhD.

The condolence visit to his Dougirei residence, in Yola, was made, following the demise of his elder brother, Engr. Salihu Muhammad Barde, who passed-on in Bauchi and has since be buried, according to Islamic rites.

In a condolence speech, Marafa described the late Barde as a “man of humility and integrity, whose life of service would remain a source of inspiration to many,” according to a statement shared in Kaduna Monday.

He explained that the delegation came to identify with Comrade Salihu in his moment of grief and to show solidarity with him as a dependable leader whose contributions continue to strengthen the APC in Adamawa and across the Northeast States.

Co-Chairman of the coalition, Nurudden Nyako, extolled the virtues of the deceased, noting that he lived a life of generosity and dedication to community service, and explained that the late Barde’s influence went beyond family bonds, touching lives across Adamawa, and urged the family to draw strength from the values he left behind.

Nyako maintained that the visit was both to console the family and to reaffirm their loyalty to Comrade Salihu as a rallying point for the party. He also averred that the enduring virtues of the deceased would continue to inspire the people he touched during his lifetime.

On his part, Secretary of the coalition, Dr. Abraham Tizhe Musa, described the late Barde as “a man of honesty, hard work and compassion, who lived a purposeful life worthy of emulation.” He noted that late Barde’s character and commitment to humanity would remain a guiding light to the younger generation.

Dr. Musa prayed for Almighty Allah to grant the deceased eternal rest in Jannatul Firdaus and to strengthen the family to bear the loss.

He assured Comrade Salihu of the group’s solidarity, describing him as a unifying force whose leadership remains critical to the progress of the APC in Adamawa and beyond.
