A Nigerian London-based business man and philanthropist, Moses Ted Andishu, of Andishu Foundation, has commended Governor of Kaduna State, Senator Uba Sani, over what he termed as “improved security and peaceful coexistence” in the State.
He also expressed happiness over the ongoing reconstruction works on Kaduna-Abuja expressway, describing the development as a major confidence booster for security of road users.

Mr. Andishu, who is CEO and founder of ‘Andishu Foundation’ known for empowering widows and orphans, said the journeys undertaken by many innocent Nigerians through the Kaduna-Abuja highway are clear indications that the highway, once notorious for bandit attacks, is now safe.
In a statement personally signed and made available to newsmen on Friday, Mr. Andishu fervently recalled that Governor Sani, a pro-democracy activist, learned the rope of concern for human lives from the duos of late Gani Fawehinmi, Dr. Beko Ransom-Kuti and, presently, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
He also expressed satisfaction with Governor Sani’s peace policies, praising him that “In the past 2 years, Governor Sani has re-engaged with traditional rulers, reinstated leaders previously dethroned, and emphasized collaboration with religious institutions to promote unity and moral guidance.”
Andishu added that, “Governor Sani said, ‘We are restoring dignity to our cultural and religious institutions,’ and expressed happiness with the statement credited to the governor that the roles of Ggovernors are critical for peaceful coexistence by providing the security of lives and properties of the citizenry.
“Economically, despite inheriting over N80 billion in domestic debt and $550 million in foreign loans, Kaduna now ranks among Nigeria’s top four states for foreign direct investment.
“His administration has provided free housing to victims of insurgency, introduced 100 CNG buses offering free transport, and distributed farm inputs to boost agriculture.
“In education, tuition hikes at Kaduna State University have been reversed, preventing student dropouts. Health initiatives include upgrading 255 primary health centres, renovating 14 general hospitals, and completing a long-delayed 300-bed Specialist Hospital; infrastructure projects covering over 800 km of rural roads, with 30 already commissioned,” he said.
He added that, “Security has improved through coordination with federal security agencies, while he renewed Ministries, such as Youth Development, Information, and Humanitarian Affairs – have been established to meet community needs.
“At the state’s two-year anniversary, President Bola Tinubu praised Kaduna’s direction, contrasting it with what he called a “toxic past administration,” the statement said.
Besides international honours for good leadership and development, the statement noted that it has been Governor Sani’s long-term vision for Kaduna to become a model for Nigeria in security, economic growth, education, and healthcare.
“Kaduna State will be a place where business thrives and citizens live in safety and dignity,” the statement affirmed.
