The newly appointed Commissioner of Police in Plateau State Command, CP Bassy Ewah, has charged all officers and men of the Command to bring their best game forward and work towards taking Plateau State back to its original state as the “Home of Peace and Tourism.”

“We will strive to be dutiful, disciplined, and professional in the performance of our duties. We will work with the good people of Plateau State to identify and address security challenges, and we will not rest until we achieve our goals,” he assured.

CP Bassey Ewah disclosed this, while briefing Journalists on Thursday in Jos. He is the 46th Commissioner of Police to serve in the state.

The CP emphasized the importance of inter-service collaborations with other security agencies, adding that, “We will sustain and strengthen these partnerships at all levels of the Command to ensure an improved security architecture for Plateau State.” 

The Commissioner further assured that it’s committed towards serving the good people of Plateau with integrity, professionalism, and dedication. 

CP Ewah further assured them that it will not be business as usual under his watch, and promised “to build on the already established peace in this great state,” adding, “And we will work tirelessly to ensure the safety and security of all citizens.”
