President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has been called upon to be courageous, bold and dogged in tackling the “so-called insecurities” in Nigeria by making use of all the machineries in place in the country.
A Kanuri Borno-born Activist, Rev. Kallamu Musa Ali Dikwa, who made the call Tuesday, in a letter he addressed to Tinubu, urged the President to be bold to rescue the country from the “so-called insecurities, which are sources of income to many heartless Nigerians both within and outside the government.”
While he appreciated the efforts being made by the Service Chiefs in handling the insecurities in the country with commendation, Rev. Dikwa stressed the need for more action, adding that the high cost of living orchestrated by the insecurities have seriously underscored Tinubu’s work and performance.
Rev. Dikwa, who is also the Director, General Center for Justice on Religious and Ethnicity in Nigeria, made these revelations in a letter entitled: ‘Every machinery to tackle insecurities in Nigeria are there except doggedness and or boldness: Mr. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, you have no options than to be bold and write your name on the hearts of Nigerians.’
The letter, dated that 9th 2024, and addressed to President Tinubu and C-n-C of Armed Forces, also revealed that the works of Boko Haram terrorists are strongly backed by some state governments, otherwise their activities would have been a thing of the past, citing 22 released Chibok school girls as an example.
Rev. Dikwa, however, lamented that they have written three important letters to the president in these regards, including that of the inciting preaching and its aftermath, saying First Lady, Pastor Mrs. Oluremi Tinubu, is seen as a stumbling block to cabals claiming to be in control of presidency, adding that plans are under way to replace Tinubu with a northerner, in 2027.
“Mr. President; we salute you, for your age, expertise and worth of experiences. Should you hear anything bedeviling our dear country you act speedily.
“Mr. President, Sir, you have to continue to be bold to rescue our dear country from the so-called insecurities, which are sources of income to many heartless Nigerians both within and outside the government as rightly said by former President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan.
“We have seen our Service Chiefs trying hard in handling the insecurity in the country. However, we need to see more as the situation, coupled with high cost of living, is seriously underscoring your performance.
“Mr. President, Sir, we have written three important letters to you, titled, ‘The Inciting Preaching And Its Aftermath: The Young Sokoto Islamic Cleric And His Preaching On the First Lady, Pastor Mrs. Oluremi Bola Tinubu, date 05/03/2024 and received in your office.
“Northeast Development Commission (NEDC) Is The Milking Cow To The Northeastern Political Cohorts: President, Federal Republic of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu Should Overhaul or Scrap The System,” dated 11/03/2024, received at your office.
“The Northern Politicians and the Muslim Clerics Are Planning to Have North West Development Commission (NWDC), Using Kidnapping/Terrorism: Mr. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu Wise Up,” dated 18/03/2024.
“Mr. President, Sir, some of the persons that called me on phone and threatened me said, they are the people controlling the seat of power in Aso Rock Villa; nothing you, Mr. President, can do to change their plans.
“It’s your wife, the First Lady, Pastor Mrs. Oluremi, that is blocking their agenda. Therefore, what happened to late Lt. Gen. Andrew Azazi and Gov. Patrick Yakowa will happen to her. This is their plan and prayers before Allah, and they believe and trust Allah to do what they have demanded from him. To the callers, the First Lady is their problem and not you, Mr. President.
“They are planning to push you out of the presidency, come 2027, and bring a northerner that can implement their agenda without delay. The Vice President removed N13b from the North East Development Commission account and they have already settled your Chief of Staff from proceed; therefore, nothing can be done,” it stated.
According to him, there are top secret attached to the real reasons Borno State Governor refused to release the 22 released Chibok school girls to the parents beyond mere speculation of ‘education.’
“Mr. President, Sir, it will interest you to note that, the works of Boko Haram terrorist in Borno State is strongly backed by the State Government; else, it will by now remain a thing of the past.
“Taking the case of the twenty-two (22) released Chibok school girls still in the custody of the Borno State Governments, the State Government, under Prof Zulum, holds them and hides them as their second Boko Haram home for two reasons: (a) If the Government of Borno State hand over these girls to their parents, they can go back to their former or parent’s religion, that is Christianity. (b) People can go to these girls in their parents’ homes and ask questions that will reveal the secrets of the sponsors of Boko Haram terrorist, which will be opened to the whole world.
“Mr. President, Sir, lastly, our appeal to you is: give order to Gov. Babagana Umara Zulum to hand over the 22 Chibok school girls that were rescued by the Nigerian military from the Boko-Haram terrorist captivities to their parents. The Chibok school girls on ‘rehabilitations’ for more than 6 years and their parents have no access to see their own children is abomination on the highest level by all religions.
“We plead for your caring heart to call the three letters written to you, which have not been debunked by anyone except threat to my life and your inabilities to defeat them, read through and act appropriately,” he stated.
The SA new media to Governor Zulum was contacted on the sideling allegations against the governor and his administration but failed to respond till press time.
