A body, popularly known as ‘Centre for Justice on Religious and Ethnicity in Nigeria’ (CJREN), has written a strong-worded petition to Bola Tinubu-led Federal Government, demanding for justice and fairness for under-aged Christian girls abducted in Borno and Yobe States.

The petition, dated 3rd March, 2026, and signed by the Director-General of the Center, Rev. Kallamu Musa Dikwa, argued that justice has been done to Jigawa State abducted Muslim school girl, Walida Abdulhadi Ibrahim, but has not been applied to 4 Christian girls that were allegedly abducted in Gadaga District, Garin-Goge Village in Fika LGA of Yobe State’s Religious Affairs’ Ministry.

The Centre’s DG also revealed that Borno State Governor, Prof. Babagana Umara Zulum, allegedly married out 18 rescued Christian Chibok school girls to ‘repentant’ B’Haram and given them accommodation with their so-called ‘wives’ directly opposite Sen. Ali Ndume House, in Maiduguri, along Damboa Road.

The petition letter, addressed to President Tinubu and made available to our Correspondent in Kaduna Wednesday, 3rd March 2026, stated: “We are demanding for justice for underaged Christian abducted girls in Borno and Yobe States. Justice has been done to Jigawa State abducted Muslim school girl, Walida Abdulhadi Ibrahim.”

The Centre insisted that, “Same justice must be done to 4 Christian girls that were abducted in Gadaga District, Garin-Goge Village in Fika LGA Yobe State, including (1) Cecilia Mathias (2) Veronica Mathias (3) Linda Mathias and (4) Jara David, respectively, by the Ministry of Religious Affairs in Yobe State.”

The petition further demanded that justice must also be done to the 18 Christian Chibok school girls that were rescued in 2022/2023 by Nigerian Military from the Boko-Haram camp, and handed over to Borno Governor, Babagana Umara Zulum, alleging that till date, the governor refused to hand over the girls to their parents.

“As if that was not painful enough, Governor Babagana Umara Zulum single-handedly went ahead and gave out the 18 Christian Chibok school girls that were rescued for marriage to the so-called repentant B’Haram terrorists,” the body stated.

According to the body, “At the moment of writing these narratives, the governor has given accommodation to the so-called repentant B’Haram ‘husbands’ with their Christian Chibok girls ‘wives’ in one house directly opposite Sen. Ali Ndume house in Maiduguri, at Damboa Road.”

“Therefore, the same constitution that has given the same right to release Walida Abdulhadi, this same constitution must give the rights to release the above-mentioned names.

“We know, Mr. President will not allow our underaged Christian daughters to be abducted in the disguise of using so-called ‘Islamic Sharia Jihad’ Laws.

“Still, on our demand for justice for all Nigerians, the so-called ‘repentant’ B’Haram that were recently given firearms and deployed to some places are doing their worse.

“Some of these groups are putting demand on the poor civilians, including the commercial drivers to extort some money. Once you drag or refuse to do what they demand, you may end up in the emergency ward with bullet wounds.

“What a paradox! And, here we are saying: ‘Repentant Boko-Haram,’ Thank You. Yours Sincerely,” Rev Dikwa told President Tinubu.

Contacted for clarifications, a media aide to Borno State Governor, Bundi Abdulrahman, failed to respond until the time of filing this report.

The petition letter was signed as “Rev. Kallamu Musa Ali Dikwa, Director-General Centre for Justice on Religious and Ethnicity in Nigeria,” with his contact phone numbers: 08033497229; 08027141437.
