Plateau State Football Association (FA) has elected new members – with Hon. Suleiman Yahaya Kwande as the new Chairman.
Hon. Suleiman Kwande is now a congress member, having won with 24 votes to become the new Plateau State FA Chairman. He polled 24 out of 24 votes of the Local Government Area and affiliates delegates.
In the same vein, Mr. Ezira Godit was elected 1st Vice Chairman of Plateau Football Association (PFA) after polling 23 out of 24 votes.
Hon. Suleiman Yahaya Kwande took the “oath of allegiance” and received a Certificate of Return on 19th October, 2023, at Mees Palace in Jos City. In his acceptance speech, Hon. Kwande says “Sports will be used as a tool to promote peace and unity on the state,” and he will introduce other sports activities and encourage sports as a means of empowering talented youths from the grassroots.
