Plateau State Governor, Caleb Mutfwang, has commended the 2025 contingent to Saudi Arabia for this year’s Hajj for making the state proud, reaffirming his commitment to ensuring harmonious existence in all parts of the state for development to thrive.
The governor made this known, while receiving the Report of 2025 Hajj at the new Government House, Little Rayfield, in Jos.
While receiving the Report from the Amir Hajj and Emir of Wase, Governor Mutfwang saluted the leader of the continent for “leading a successful team” that has made the state and Nation proud.
The governor pledged to handsomely reward the woman, who found and returned over five thousand dollars, and the man, who found and returned an iPhone, describing their honesty as rare.
He used the avenue to appeal to citizens to resist the temptation of disrupting the existing peace, assuring that he is committed to ensuring development in all parts of the state.
Speaking earlier, Amir Hajj and Emir of Wase, Muhammadu Haruna, commended the team, saying, “It is the first most organised team under the four-times leadership of the Hajj exercise.”
He also expressed gratitude to the governor for providing the Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board with a befitting structure, describing it as the first of its kind since the creation of the state.
