KADUNA: The photographs show the Federal bad road, from Moro’a to Ganawuri, linking Plateau, an Inter-State Road. The road carries a lot of commercial vehicles as well as private vehicles. But erosion has taken its toll on the inter-state road.
When the road was good, a driver could take 15 minutes, from Moro’a to Ganawuri, which is a distance of 28 kilometers. But now it takes a time of one hour to do so.
One would expect that Federal Road Maintenance Agency would have repaired the road long before now. Now that we are in the rainy period, the two states will be cut off completely from one another.
The repair of the bad road should be done and completed before the months of September and October – when the rainfall is usually heavier.
