The Personal Assistant (PA) to the President on Constituency Affairs, Alhaja Khadijat Kareem Omotayo, has held a town hall meeting, which is served as a vital platform for dialogue and collaboration among government officials, community leaders, and citizens in Plateau State.

The meeting was to provide an opportunity to share ideas, address pressing concerns, and collectively seek solutions for the progress and prosperity of Plateau State.

The stakeholders’ engagement meeting was held at Government House, Little Rayfield Conference Hall, in Jos on Saturday, organised by the Personal Assistant to the President on Constituency, Alhaja Khadijat Kareem Omotayo.

Speaking during the meeting, Alhaja Omotayo said Plateau State was strategically chosen for the engagement “due to its immense potentials,” adding, “If properly harnessed, these resources could drive sustainable development not only in the state but across the nation.”

While explaining President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s commitment to fostering inclusivity and national development, the PA emphasizing that the President’s administration is open to collaboration with all Nigerians to achieve these goals.

The Plateau State Governor, Barr. Caleb Mutfwang, assured of his administration’s commitment to harnessing the state’s vast potentials for economic growth and national development.

Gov Mutfwang was represented at the event by the Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Hon. Musa Ibrahim Ashoms, who came along with key stakeholders to discuss issues affecting the state and the nation.

He assured the Presidential Aide of the steadfast support of Plateau State’s stakeholders in promoting equitable and inclusive governance through strategic infrastructural development.

While emphasizing that Plateau State remains a fertile ground for nurturing talents and fostering development across various sectors, Hon Ashoms added that the Federal Government’s interventions in different aspects of life have significantly contributed to improving the living standards of the citizens.

Our correspondent reports that those present at the event include Traditional Rulers, Younth Leaders, NLC, NUJ, Political Parties, Women in Agriculture, Muslim leaders CAN, and other nationalities, among others.

They appreciated the PA for organizing a town hall meeting, and urged the President to look into the issues of security, saying, “Because citizens are not save.”
