Governor Babagana Umara Zulum of Borno State has been confirmed to have constructed over twenty thousand houses in at least 23 ultramodern estates across the 27 LGAs of Borno, beginning from May, 2019, to date.
One of the ultramodern structures is the Metro Housing Estate, according to a statement issued Monday by SSA on new media, Abdurrahman Bundi, titled: #Zulum1238CapitalProjects.
Named after the Vice-President, Kashim Shettima, the estate is located on the massive erstwhile barren Metro Police Playground in Maiduguri, the state capital.
These 72 units of 3-bedroom, 2-storey modern architectural masterpieces were built by the Borno State Government for senior military officers, sister security agencies, and other employees of the Federal Government.
The elegant edifice is fitted with ultramodern facilities, including a shopping mall, to cater for basic needs of its residents.
It added that, “This is one of the over 1,200 capital projects executed by Zulum in 5 years as the Executive Governor of Borno State.”
