Governor Celeb Mutfwang of Plateau State has been commended for facilitating the dualization of Akwanga-Jos Road and the overhead bridge at the Bauchi Junction in Jos, the Plateau State capital.

Chairman Plateau State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alh. Danladi Kwari, stated this to newsmen in his office, along Bauchi Road Jos.

According to him, “On the restoration of peace on the Plateau, the state has achieved commendable peace, with virtually all communities coexisting harmoniously, as people go about everywhere in the state.

While commending the governor on the Infrastructure Development, in less than two years, Alh Kwari noted that, “The administration has completed several roads, overhead bridges, and provided piped water to many communities.

“Successes have been recorded in the educational sector. The state has witnessed historic advancements in education, including the establishment of a Federal Polytechnic, the elevation of the College of Education Pankshin to a Federal University, and the accreditation of new courses in Plateau State University and Polytechnic.

The chairman further commended the State Government on the Healthcare Progress, saying that, Governor Mutfwang’s administration has made significant strides in healthcare, improving primary and tertiary services of the state.

He noted that, “Plateau State boasts impressive achievements under Governor Mutfwang, and there is the need for the citizens to praise the impressive accomplishments of the Plateau State Government.”

Alh. Kwari observed that, “Another notable achievement by the government of Barrister Celeb Mutfwang is the concerted efforts to return traders selling on the roadside into the main market building.”

He commended the Plateau State Government for organizing and conducting successful Christmas Carols events that saw Christians not only of the state, but from the entire federation.

“The governor has done well by sponsoring Christian Pilgrims, even though crises in the Middle East has brought a stop to journey. He also sponsored Muslims of the state for Hajj and welfare support during Ramadan as well as Eid celebrations.” 

He added that, “One of the achievements the state saw in recent time was the peaceful local government elections that history will not forget.”

He equally thanked the governor for facilitating the dualization of the road, from Akwanga to Jos and, importantly, the overhead bridge along Bauchi Junction.

Alh. Danladi Kwari commended Governor Mutfwang’s administration for these achievements and wished the people of Plateau State, especially the Christian community, a joyous Christmas and prosperous New Year.
