A girl of about 10 years’ old has been reportedly kidnapped by unknown gunmen at Ninsi Village, otherwise known as “oil village” in Chikun LGA of Kaduna State, leaving the parents in devastating condition.

Sources said she was kidnapped alone from their residence, at night, in the presence of the parents and taken away by the bandits.

A neighborhood told our correspondent that the incident occurred about a week ago but the parents have not received any information from the abductors for ransom or their whereabouts.

According to insider sources, the mother of the victim sells cloths at Nonso Plaza, in Sabon Tasha, to support family needs, as the father was misunderstood for a “very rich man” by informant.

Our correspondent gathered that, the bandits stormed the area, heavily harmed, and left with the girl about a week ago without knowing her whereabouts, despite all efforts made.

Contacted, Kaduna State Police Command spokesman, ASP Mansir Hassan, could not respond till the time of filing this report.

Efforts made to see the parents were aborted due to their devastating helpless condition. The village is located somewhere behind Kaduna Refinery, bordering close to a bye-pass linking Kaduna-Abuja highway.
